Azadeh Akhlaghi: A post-conceptual artist who is married to a singer

Azadeh Akhlaghi was born in Shiraz (1978) and grew up in Mashhad, Iran. She graduated from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in the field of computer science. Since 2000 her passion, however, has been photography.Conceptual art and staged photography are two artistic forms that have evolved alongside each other, influencing and inspiring each other in countless ways. Both forms challenge traditional ideas of art and representation, pushing boundaries and exploring new ways of expressing ideas and emotions.
