Sharif University of Technology previously known as the Aryamehr University of Industry

Sharif University of Technology, also known as Sharif University, is one of the most prestigious and oldest universities in Iran. Established in 1966, it is located in the capital city of Tehran and is renowned for its high academic standards and rigorous programs in science, engineering, and technology. The university was founded by the late Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi as part of his efforts to modernize the country and promote higher education in science and technology. Sharif University was named after Ayatollah Abdolkarim Sharif al-Mulouk, a renowned philosopher and theologian from Iran.
