Saeed Rad, a movie actor, died at the age of 80 after enduring a period of illness

He won two awards from Sepas Film Festival for playing in the morning of the fourth day (1972) and Tangna (1973). After a minor role in Conquerors of the Desert (1969, M. Zarrindast) he was invited by Amir Naderi for the leading role of his debut, Adieu Friend (1971). He won an honorary diploma for the best actor in the leading role from the Fajr Film Festival for his role in "The Receiver" (2010), and he portrayed the military officer Valiullah Fallahi in "Che" (2012).
