By the late 1990s and early 2000s, significant changes began to take shape. Women gradually regained some access to sports, though the struggle remained intense. Many women began to take advantage of cultural shifts and increased global awareness regarding women's rights. This newfound momentum led to the formation of various women’s sports organizations that worked tirelessly to promote female involvement in athletics, providing a platform for female athletes to showcase their skills and talents.
