An Empress's Enduring Legacy: Farah Pahlavi's Dedication in Exile

After completing her high school education, she traveled to Paris to study architecture at the École Spéciale d'Architecture. It was during her time as a student that she was introduced to the Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, at the Iranian embassy. Her grace and intelligence caught his attention, and after a brief courtship, they were married in December 1959. This union made her the third wife of the Shah and the new Queen of Iran.
