The limousine's design incorporates some commercially available parts from other GM vehicles, such as the headlights and side mirrors from an Escalade, but this is done to help keep the cost of replacing parts low and to make the vehicle appear more inconspicuous. The chassis and driveline, however, are sourced from a commercial truck, such as the Chevrolet Kodiak. This gives the vehicle the durability and strength needed to carry its considerable weight, which is estimated to be between 15,000 and 20,000 pounds.
