Encouraging Self-Care
Grieving can be physically and emotionally exhausting. Encourage the person to take care of themselves. This can be as simple as reminding them to drink water, eat a meal, or get some fresh air. You could suggest a short walk together or offer to bring them a favorite healthy meal. The goal is to help them maintain their physical well-being so they have the strength to process their emotional grief. Remember, they may not have the energy or motivation to do these things on their own.
