These are exercises that engage multiple joints and muscle groups concurrently, leading the body to change in a more balanced and stronger manner. She advises incorporating several compound movements into each workout session, performing each exercise for 3 to 4 sets with 8 to 12 repetitions. The weight selected should be challenging enough so that the final two to three repetitions of each set are difficult to complete, yet still achievable with correct form.
