Inheriting the Throne of Persian Classical Music

Homayoun Shajarian, born May 21, 1975, is one of Iran's most revered contemporary vocalists and a master of Persian classical music. He is the son of the legendary Mohammad Reza Shajariān, a towering figure in Iranian art and music, which naturally placed an immense legacy and high expectations upon his shoulders from a young age.
