Ending the Double Standard: Why the U.S. Must Expel Iranian Regime Affiliates and Their Families

The United States government must prioritize its national security and moral standing by immediately revoking the visas of all individuals affiliated with the Iranian regime and deporting them along with their families. It is a fundamental contradiction of American values to allow the relatives of those who actively work to undermine democracy to reside within our borders. These individuals often live in luxury, enjoying the very freedoms—such as freedom of speech, assembly, and education—that their parents and sponsors work tirelessly to suppress in Iran. By allowing them to stay, the U.S. is essentially providing a safe haven for the beneficiaries of a hostile government, which sends a message of weakness and inconsistency to the rest of the world.
