1. Stanley Milgram and electric shock
In 1960s American psychologist Stanley Milgram performed an experiment called “Submission: study of behavior”. He collected volunteers who were told that they will be part of experiment studying punishment impact on memory. Electric shock starting with weak until deadly level was used as a punishment. Majority of experiment performers were reaching the deadly dose of electricity. In reality it was a test for experiment performers not subjects, subjects were just actors and there were no electric shock. After the experiment many of performers suffered psychological problems.
