Clean Out Your Fireplace

I wish I had known this one before I had someone in to clean my fireplace after Christmas. Clean up your fireplace without causing a dust storm with the help of coffee. When the embers are cool, sprinkle damp coffee grounds all over the ashes and let them sit for 15 minutes before scooping out the whole mess. The coffee grounds will cling to the ashes and you won't end up with a bigger mess than what you started with.
