Farah was raised by her mother Gülay Abdullah and father Osman Abdullah. Her mother is of Bosnian descent whereas her father is of Iraqi Turkmen origin.
She has 2 brothers as siblings and one of his names is Harun Abdullah. Her father at a small age immigrated to Turkey at the time of war and did military service in Iraq.
