Man who fell asleep for a YEAR arrested after finally waking up

 It has often been classified instead as a factitious disorder; for example, it was classed as such in the 3rd edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-III), and reclassified to a dissociative disorder in DSM-IV. It is not currently in the DSM-5.
