A ferocious winter storm in the US has caused at least 50 deaths

The New York governor, Kathy Hochul mentioned in an interview with  local reporters that “This blizzard is one for the ages. Certainly, it’s the blizzard of the century.” Hochul said that the storm came shortly after another "historic" snowfall in the area. Between the two incidences of extreme weather, the total snowfall is now close to 242 centimeters.
