Positano is the hillside town on the Amalfi Coast that's instantly recognisable for pastel coloured houses tumbling down the hillside and hugging the waterfront. Take a closer look and you discover quaint streets lined with designer shops and smart restaurants, almost all with amazing views on the side. Of course the Amalfi Coast has some of the best beaches in Italy, and quite a few are in Positano.
