Rock singer, Matin 2 Hanjare, Detained By Iranian Officials

Iranian authorities have detained Nima Rezaei, a musician who collaborated on the protest song "Beginning of the End," and took him to an undisclosed location. Rezaei has had no communication with his family since his arrest near Tehran’s City Theater on September 17. The arrest came as protests continued across Iran amid a widespread crackdown by security forces a year after Mahsa Amini’s death in police custody.
