Once the roses have reached maturity and are in full bloom, they are harvested by hand to ensure the best quality. The petals are carefully plucked from the flowers, taking care to avoid any damage that could affect the final product. The petals are then transported to the distillation facility as quickly as possible to prevent oxidation and loss of aromatic compounds. At the distillation facility, the petals are loaded into a large stainless steel still, along with a precise amount of purified water. The still is equipped with a heating element that heats the water to create steam, which carries the aromatic compounds from the rose petals into a condenser where they are collected as rosewater.
