A Versatile Visionary: The Multi-Faceted Artistic Journey of Soudabeh Beizaee

As her acting career matured, Beizaee felt a growing urge to move behind the camera to tell stories from her own perspective. This transition was born out of her background in literature and her desire to explore the raw realities of life in Iran through a documentary lens. She began writing screenplays, but it was during the research phase of these projects that she found herself captivated by real-world subjects. Her shift toward directing was not a departure from acting, but rather an expansion of her artistic identity, allowing her to control the narrative voice and the visual language of her work.
